Tiestos Next Big Annoucement
" The man who has been ranked #1 dj in the world for the past 3 years. He has opened the olympic games for the year 2004. He sold out 55 000 tickets in 3 hours for his europe concerts in the netherlands last year. He has played in front of a soldout crowd in disneyland paris france. What is next you ask?"
"Were working with some bigtime us promoters says miami space owner. Its time to expand dance music in north america. This is a scene that has little exposure in the general sense being dominated by a rap top 40 market. With the current popularity of tiesto we feel he is obviously the only choice. Some huge Annoucements will come very soon." "Tiesto will be doing his first ever TIESTO IN CONCERT US GIGS. So far the rumors of the 5 big cites include LA, Miami, Chicago, New york and Vegas. It looks like the massive LA COLISIUM has been confirmed. Were hoping he will be able to pack the stadiums for his shows just like he does in his hometown, no one is as large or hyped as he is right now." Official dates and venues will be announced soon. www.tiestoinconcert.com |

How would one do a Sensation White/Black type of party if its only one DJ ? |

That was my point :) Tiesto by himself doing a concert is pretty boring unless he could do a show similiar to Hawtins Plastikman Mutek performance. It would be much more appealing if it were done as a moving festival type of thing. IMO

Seriously, though, isn't it a little arrogant to presume that Tiesto will succeed where The Chemical Brother, The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Paul Oakenfold, Moby, and even 2 Unlimited failed? Sorry folks, but aside from Tiesto fans and curious folks with plenty of money to blow, no one is going to be all that interested to see a guy playing other people's music all night long. EDM's niche well remain no matter how valiant the effort an American tour of TiC is. |
