my view:
although the whole thing with prison is that once you've served your time, then your punishment is supposed to be up...she has a difference circumstance since the only reason she is even getting out of jail now is because she maid a plea bargain and testified against her psycho boyfriend (i think). although, they should have told her that they would consider doing something like this when she made the plea bargain in the first place. so i say, yeah, keep her under closer watch. |

im surprised she hasn't been declared a dangerous offender.
p.s anyone who does that too their own family members much less another human being multiple times, is a sick individual, and since even with treatment it's unlikely they can be rehabilitated, i say lock the bitch up. Last edited by SEAN!; Jun 03, 05 at 02:38 PM. |

the plea bargain was bullshit in the first place, and if they'd just waited a little longer they wouldn't have needed to make the deal, because the video tape that they made that popped up a bit later would have put them both in jail for life...
as it stands she never even got tried for her sister's death while under the influence of drugs that she and paul bernardo administered so they could rape her.... sick... apparentlly she really hasn't worked towards any kind of rehabilitation. so what do you do? it's a tough call....personally i think that some kind of restrictions may be warranted IF they can show that she poses a continuing risk to the public. i also think that what with the amount of public interest in these days of the internet her chance for privacy=nil. |
