heya so i got this new job with lotsa hours, and good pay, but the boss is a real asshole. should i go on full time with him for the summer and be rolling in enough dough to get the fuck out of here for a long long time, or should i stay with my old boss and get less hours but a stress-free environment (the guy makes my lunches for chrissakes.

the funniest part is that the nice guys name is luigi.
guess the hardasses name.

I faced this dilemma once before.. should I go with the boss that's kind of a backstabber, picky, but offering me more money and hours to work with her..? Or should I stick with the nice, chilled, fun but can't offer me more money or more hours boss..

In the end, I stuck with the nice boss, and it payed off because she ended up promoting me = more money, more hours, more experience, and tons of fun.

Work shouldn't always have to be stressful.

id say work hard and get out of here for a few ...you need it hunny:)..it will be so worth it..trust me i did the same thing for a while and took off it was nice and gave me sometime to my self...you dont have much time to do it when your older...plus hard work will be good for you...xoxox

soemtimes its nto worth it, i quit a job last year knowing that right now id be making over 50k a year because it was ruining my life. itll take me a few years to get back where i was but its worth it, doing a job you hate and being a stressed emotional basketcase all the time isnt worth it when you know in the long run you'll make more money and live a better life if you do soemthign else and pace yourself.


tho on the flipside this could be the opportunity to build up the cash youve been telling me you need to go to school, and school will pay big dividends no matter what you do.

p.s working for contractors is a fuckin bitch whether your in the office or working on site! you're too good for the construction industry.

im doing that right now and im toughing it out cuz money puts food in my mouth and soon a roof on top of my head. ure still young..work hard while u can, when u start feeling the aches and pain then lay low cuz ure hardwork woulda paid off.

No one wants to be in a job they don't enjoy. You shouldn't force yourself to go to a job that makes you feel shitty. If there's a boss that you can't stand, and you're not getting paid enough to justify your patience for him, look for something else that'll suit the lifestyle YOU want. Otherwise you're inducing your own stress

But, it's not easy finding jobs now-a-days, so don't leave yourself job-less.. make sure you got your bases covered so you can enjoy your summer
