that being said, i highly doubt she even had the records to play top 40 stuff. but i have heard her spin a cool coldplay remix. that's close enough right? also, that dude on cv is a douche.

yea i think its fuckin silly to book a house dj then ask for top 40. i played at a penthouse party once, and all these girls kept complaining cos i wasnt playing fifty cent. i got off the decks almost immediately and smoked some weed. fuck them.

Dave you said it best, I nearly cryed. HAHAHAHAHAHA I was just writing an email to Naughty by Nature expressing how dissapointed I was in them for not playing house in their Live hip hop set. I was saying how not everyone are hip hop fans and they should've known that But then I read this thread and thought about it. How the heck could I expect an act to play something that they don't normally play Who would book Leanne expecting her to play anything else but house? Unless stated beforehand that they wanted her to do that, but my guess is she would've declined the booking if someone wanted her to play hip hop. She's not a hip hop dj Just like Naughty by Nature would've declined a house booking Anyways like I replied to CV... how many house dj's are out there collecting top 40's to begin with??? Im sure Leanne could play hip hop or top 40's with ease... I think the main issue would of been the fact that she didnt even have hip hop or top 40's on her. Common sence owns... Leanne is a prime local house dj... everyone knows that... blame goes to the dude who organized the event and couldnt find the best suitable entertainment to please everyone.

This is funny - how could they NOT realize that she only plays dance music like trance, house, etc? They even let her finish her whole set and only now they're complaining about it. This situation doesn't make ANY sense AT ALL - unless they were plotting something against her on purpose.
