Matcha!

Even before this matcha craze I've always loved matcha. Especially the ceremonial kind that you whip up with a bamboo whisk and consume with something sweet.

But after I tried a matcha latte at Blenz I've renewed my passion for matcha, and I make myself matcha lattes at home, which are so easy to make :P

Anyone tried the starbucks matcha? I still have yet to try theirs... But it looks like green tea icecream slush.

MMM.

the internet can not give you a taste of this matcha though.

Did you like what the internet had to tell you?

If you like green tea ice cream, you'll like match lattes from blenz

If you haven't yet googled your answer, here is mine.. I don't know the "real" defintion of matcha other than what I know from my own experience. It's basically just a really strong dark ceremonial green tea.. The original/traditional kind is very bitter and sort of "thicker" in texture... It's like drinking green tea but far bitter and darker... But that's the traditional kind. The ceremonial matcha (Hot green tea) that you find at blenz or starbucks is quite watered down and you won't find anything as bitter as what you would drink at a real tea ceremony. It basicaly tastes like a more stronger version of green tea.

Matcha latte's are a more modern fun version of matcha. It basically tastes like green tea ice cream in a drink. I think they use matcha powder and dilute that with milk and add a bit of sugar. That's how I make mine :P
