The ending was long and drawn out,kinda like waiting for a bruise to fade.Sorrow scorched skin,the fire in your touch only made things worse,not better.

Eventually my tears saturated your finger tips,and it felt good to be by your side once again.However this satisfaction was fleeting,like the sanity i sacrificed in order to walk in your shadow.

Then daylight hit where there was only darkness and decay,beams of sunlight burst accross my horizon once so hollow from the solitude of your forever night.And like a phoenix I rose from the ashes of this beast and took flight into the solace of my own arms.

At long last,home.Although foreign to me I knew that this is where I grew my roots,and where I would dance solo to the melody of my reveries.I wont lie,tears streak down my face and form their own constellations on my skin,but it soothes the ache.

Afterall,Im only human.
