heh Normal is a very relative term... I started with Home Schooling as I lived just outside of where "normal" people would call the styx. I also did some schooling in the NWT. I think I'm fairly normal. :p

I knew a couple people who entered the public school system in Grade 11 who had been home schooled up until that point. They had a severe lack of social skills and had a very hard time fitting in with anyone.

Not saying that home schooling is bad but interaction with other children is also very important.

one of my relatives is thinking about homeschooling her five year old. she freaked out when the kid came home and started talking about the earth as being the 'mother goddess' and other bullshit. her teacher might even be a lesbian.

Naw, I was set upon the Public School System for Grade 3. But I did Pre-School and all that Jazz at Home.

it's not my decision, the family just happens to be quite religious. then again, some of the stuff they're teaching these days is just shocking
