For some reason, I'm suprrised that you didn't have a RIGHT answer that you stated with such confidence.

Prostitution in Canada is legal, but it may as well be considered illegal considering that a prostitute basically can not work without violating the law somehow.

Bawdy houses are illegal however. A prostitute can not "do her job" regularly in the same location, or it could techincally be considered a bawdy house, thus making her actions illegal.

Personally, I think these should not be made illegal.
