I watched the director's commentary on the N.D. DVD and they said only had a small amount of film and money to shoot the dance part so they had to do it with no mistakes. Low budget movie.

If you watch closely it is one scene made from several shots, so he didn't have to dance the whole thing at once. They said he didn't make any mistakes.
