Zombie Walk 2005

Did anyone attend/see this?

So fucking fun, 300 people dressed as zombies marching from the art gallery, through Pacific Centre, onto the Skytrain and then up Main St. to 30th Ave (shit that was a long walk).

I read about this on another site. Looks like it was quite a fun event. First I've heard of this event though. Is it an Annual thing in Vancouver?

this is the first year it happened here. There's been zombie walks in Toronto, San Fran, NYC - I'm pretty sure this will become an annual thing...

But honestly, even a little talking and laughing isn't going to spoil the effect of seeing a procession of 300+ people dressed as zombies shuffling up main street.

Random cars, buses, and skytrain cars were also swarmed by throngs of zombies and stores and restaurants had zombies pressed up against the glass. One of the best parts was seeing random bloodstains all over the place...

yea.. i didnt here anything about this... iwish someone had advertised this a bit more.. it would have been fun to do a bunch of mushrooms and walk around and trip out with allthe zombies

like if there is a rave on halloween in PNE, 2 hours before we will have glowstick on and other flashy flashy thing, wearing all the candy and just walk around downtown vancouver

sounds like something that the people from somethingawful.com would pull off.
They've done crazy shit like dress up like robots carrying signs with binary on it protesting with gays and lesbians.....

Or in new york there was an event that they setup that they ended up having like 5000 people show up at a toys r us store that has a HUGE girraff and they had the streets blocked off and at a certain time they all bowed down to the girraff and then left leaving other people wondering just wtf happened...

I guess I should have posted something here, but i only really went cause my girl heard about it on LJ and convinced me to attend. Totally worth it - i would have gone to the after party at Video In but I had to spin at the waldorf...
