Have you ever met your double?

last semester a classmate of mine was absolutely convinced (he actually argued with me) that i was in another class with him and was working closely with him on a project for that class. In actuality he had mistaken me for another girl. When he finally realized i wasn't the same girl (it took awhile) he wanted me to meet her because he truly believed she was my exact twin. HOwever, for various reasons, i chickened out and didn't go meet her.
Has anyone out there actually met someone that people believed looked like them? Were you disappointed, flattered, or surprised?

I've met another Nevada Jones, but not a look-a-like... Not that I can remember anyhow. Ive been told lots of times that I look exactly like someone's friend/relative/what-have-you, but its usually been in passing and in too obscure of a circumstance to meet the other "me".

yuh i know this one guy we were actualy pretty good friends but hes like a bigger verison of me. even mroe coincidental is that we had alot of the same experiences through our child hood. it was kinda cool cuz we ask each other hwo we handled the situation and it would always be the saem lol

interesting thread.

ive never personally met someone that looks like me, but i have a friend that showed me a pic of his cousin that lives in spain, and we look identical. when i was over at his house, my friends dad thought i was his nephew that came by for a surprise visit. i found the whole situation and mainly the fact that i have a doppleganger pretty eerie.

People mistake me for a my roomate mushmellow and lil skizzet all the time. I dunno maybe because we're all halfers? I always get that I look like someone's bestfriend from way back.

I've never met any of my 10 000 doubles, but I have had more than a couple people argue with me that they've definitely met me before when I tried to assure them they never have.

we didn't look identical, but people used to get us mixed up. even randomly on the street, someone thought we were related.

yes he does, but his brother looks nothing like you - or really even bret for that matter.

^that's what i thought. i didn't know what brett looked like at the time, but once i saw a picture/him in person i was like this person is on crack (not brett, but the guy that thought i was his brother). we both have blackish hair and white skin...that's pretty much the only resemblance.

yeah, i guess i do kinda have a baby face. i went on a date once where this guy told me that i could be a model if my face wasn't so fat. needless to say i didn't go out with him again.

^ hair/skin colour resemblence is apparently enough for the police. i seem to get stopped by them quite often as i'm always told i look like some missing girl. i'm not missing damnit. :(

To be fair I did said mild case of babyface and I did say bret was worse - so hopefully he doesn't read this... but I never said your face was fat! You shouldn't smacked that dick upside the head.

hehe i was just kidding. i know i don't have a fat face...but it is kinda babyish. just reminded me of what that guy said which was upsetting at the time, but funny now.
