Moving into new house tomorrow!!

So excited..... taking the step to buy my own condo was such a good idea. After all the paperwork and everything had been taken care of I realized that I'm only paying $50 more a month to own.

These aren't the best pics because the camera was dying but they still show the place a little bit.Big moving day is tomorrow.... hopefully all runs smoothly!! WISH ME LUCK!!

as for myself i just moved into a nice brand new house, in surrey though, but a very nice part of surrey but yes i know, its still surrey heh.

Not too bad.... my strata for my unit is $150 and change but it covers my natural gas as well as my hot water so I'm saving big right there when it comes to utilities.

All in all the fact is that I'm not throwing my money away any more!!

Holy crap, did someone say housewarming/bbq/pool party? :)

*edit* Considering the complex is up on Westwood Plateau I'm lucky that the strata is that low. Other complexes in the area are 200 plus. My building is less than 3 yrs old and is still relatively low.

that is totally reasonable.

especially seeing how your gas and hot water is included.

my gas bill during the winter is redick.

Yeah, I'm basically turning off the baseboard heaters right at the breaker and using the gas fireplace to heat my unit. Not REALLY free heating but the closest thing to it I guess.

It's not funny Shawn, according to the Canadian Red Cross:

"Swimming Ability: 60% of the recreational swimmers who drowned had an "average to strong" swimming ability."

So even if you are a strong swimmer you should still wear you lifejacket - they save lives and I bet you look real cute in it.

congrats on the place!!!!! it just so happens i am moving into my new place today. well i am pretty much moved in already...just the big stuff. :) it is great......such a nice place...a basement suite in this gated community. beautiful big houses....brand new everything.....super rad rooomate (hi solange!).....yup.....wonderful. we are gonna have some wine and spark up a colt tonight in honour of our first night together in our new place ;)
ehem....helllo to all you abbotsford residence....i am your new neighbor!!!! :)
