New Orleans/Oil Companies
Most people probably realize that the Gulf of Mexico is one of the major supply points for oil in NA, sometimes called the second Texas. What many don't know is that this has come with a price. Due to dams on the Mississippi, pollution and the activities of the oil companies there has been extensive damage caused to the wetlands (the bayou) along the coastal regions. New Orleans in particular is now paying the price for this as what was once a natural barrier that protected the coastal region from storm surges has been decimated. Should oil companies, considering the massive revenues they have generated doing this, be held partially responsible for the costs associated with this catastrophe?

That's downright Commie-talk! You could end up on a "list", somewhere! Don't you know that AhmehriKKKa is all about the _RIGHT_ to rape and pillage at the expense of the environment and people?! It's what God wants! Frosty (Reparations, WHUT?) |

I've travelled quite a lot, around the globe, and the only problem I've had crossing a border was going into AhmehriKKKa. It's not worth the harrassment I've received. Fuck 'em! I'll stay in Canada, and visit the rest of the planet. But, not the US. Frosty (Be afraid) |
