hello iPod Nano and ROKR cellphone
New Apple iPod - has a colour display, flash memory 2 or 4 GB, small and thin, C$249 & $299,
and goodbye iPod Mini - being dropped even though it's a nice product - probably because ppl would like the nano better. They were giving away the mini to students who bought the iBook laptop a few weeks ago. a review: http://online.wsj.com/public/article...html?mod=blogs Apple's site: http://www.apple.com/ca/ipodnano/ ALSO Apple and Motorola announced they have an iTunes-capable GSM cellphone called ROKR available in USA in a few days, holds about 100 songs. In Canada it is coming to Rogers (or maybe Fido?) in about a month. This is the first "iPod cellphone". Initial reports are that it's not that hot a product, it can't download tunes online, must be loaded from your computer. The phone is made by Motorola and initially available in USA on Cingular's network, try http://www.motorola.com or http://www.cingular.com for info: Last edited by tvmann; Sep 09, 05 at 05:13 PM. |

Yeh i had an ipod from like 5 years ago and its the original big blocky 5GB haha. This nano could make me upgrade although i was wishing they build in FM radio into something like that, would make it much more worth it.
What do you guys think of this? http://www.bose.com/controller?event..._freeship&ck=0 |

Here are better specs, looks pretty good if you see what else it can do...
- 1000 songs in your pocket - Color display, can support photos - Click wheel navigation - 80% smaller in volume than the original iPod. 1.5 ounces - 1/2 the thickness of the iPod mini - Supports the dock connector - 14 hour rechargeable battery - Flash memory instead of a hard drive - New graphical clock, games, stopwatch, lap timer, screen lock - White and Black models available. - $199 and $249 for 2GB and 4GB models |

a friend just picked up the bose dock for her ipod, surprisingly loud and pounds more than enough for any apartment, quite impressive. but i wouldn't expect any less from bose. |
