my peircer said weeks to months to even a year until it can be healed - all depends on the person. i'd say go back to the peircer and have them change it.
i keep going in to get mine changed\buy a new one and my peircer keeps sayin its not ready - hes totally right but it still sucks. i've had my eye on this gorgeous stud..... but im saving up for a gold one anyways. Last edited by mugsy; Sep 08, 05 at 02:14 PM. |

i tried to change mine after a few months and i couldnt get the fucker back in...had to go get it repierced with a dull needle...hurt like nothing i've ever felt before..
so beleive me....WAIT!!!!!!!! i eventually got the other one back in by the piercer but it caused me more problems...i'd say wait at least a year, or until the piercer says its ready it sucks having to wait but beleive me its so worth it |

I've had mine pierced two times before, and both times I just left the stud in and never changed it. I had an appointment with my optometrist the other day and one of the vision machines ripped half of mine out..lol...no pain though...just the shock of it all. I say leave it in for a while longer, the healing process could still be active...and if it's painful when your attempting to remove it, id stop fiddling all together, infected nose piercings..not so attractive. It could just the stud you have though, some of them are really strangely shaped, it wouldn't hurt to call the place the pierced you for some more info...but personally id leave it alone for a bit.

LOL
I changed mine 4 days after getting it done. It healed completely in two weeks. AWESOME I'd advise against getting a screw - I use the tiny studs with the little ball on the end to keep them in place. They're cheap so if you lose them it's no big deal, and they're super easy to take out and put in so you don't have to wear it at night or in the shower, etc. |

I tried to change mine once... Well after it was healed (the time is different for everyone) but I'm allergic to most metals that cheap nose studs are made with, so... I'll stick with my white gold and diamond stud that I had put in upon piercing.

i had my nose ring come out when i was washing my face a few weeks after it was pierced...man did the fucking thing hurt to get back in... then it came out again and i just left it out for a few days and when i tried putting it bk in it went bk in with no problems....but with most piercings if u wanna change the jewlery u should go bk to ur piercer (or n e piercer 4 that matter) and get them to change it for u... :)

i got mine done the first time a year and a half ago.. 2 weeks after that it came out when i was washing my face.. and i tried to put it back in right away and i couldnt so had to get it re done.. so ive had the one in for about a year.. i had the screw kind.. andi could never get it out.. then tonight i was like.. fuck i really want to change it.. and it just came out.. so its different for everyone.. if its easy enough to come out then its ready.. if its hurting you its not ready.. kinda like earings.. when there healed it doesnt hurt to change your earings..
