Liquid is the shit... for trance. You can work some liquid into wavedancing for other music styles too if you are slick about it and don't rely on it too much. I've noticed that the amount of raised eyebrows that you get from traditional poppers is directly proportional to the length of time that you keep the flow in your hands as opposed to your body, like they think you are always supposed to ;)
Overall I'd saw waving is the sickest dance style... and since it's technically a form of popping, I guess I have to vote popping in the poll. Tutting is dope... but I can't do it and I gather it's difficult to rely on it too much on its own in most situations... there's a limited number of things you can do with it and it's a lot of memorization. I love to see it mixed into other styles though. Even though I don't think there are any organized dance styles for DnB, I'd say it's easily the most fun music to dance to. Apparently the SFU and UBC funkstyle/breaking/hiphop clubs are going to be active this year but I haven't heard anything by e-mail yet. I really want to get some people together this year for a beginners popping crew. Any wavers, decent liquidheads, or poppers here? Last edited by FlorpIncarnate; Sep 11, 05 at 05:42 PM. |
