The one thing I say the Canucks and Avs have in common the most is goaltending haha.

Neither of them have proven themselves in the post season but during the regular they are 30+ win goaltenders haha

hejduk missing first 2 weeks of season stings like a bitch. hes our top goal scorer.

but also means 1 of the young rookies will get playin time w/ sakic & tanguay.

Look for Marek Svatos to step it up while he can.

Wojtek Wolski has been a standout so far at camp.. if he can land a spot on the team .. look for him to be another Hejduk type player in the comin yrs.

Ottawa is gonna be be a great team. As long as Hasek can play well and Heatley excels on his new team.

I think Flames have a good chance too. Whereas I am not sold at all on Edmonton.

I think Vancouver or Ottawa are gonna be the top Canadian teams though and Toronto. Well fuck I don't care about toronto haha

ppl gotta stop thinkin jus cuz theres a salary cap now .. that ALL 6 CANADIAN teams will succeed.

theres teams out there that still have 90% the same team as last season .these are winning teams w/ CHEMISTRY on their side. American Teams that should not be forgotten:

DETROIT
NEW JERSEY
PHILLY
DALLAS
COLORADO
ST. LOUIS
TAMPA BAY

- im not hating on CANADIAN teams .. but it seems ppl all think w/ the salary cap .. that ALL CANADIAN teams will be top 8 in the NHL.

wont happen.

^ I agree on that not all 6 canadian teams are solid pick to make the playoff's this season.

Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto will make the playoff's they are the key canadian teams in this age of hockey.

Calgary and Montreal are iffies. Not sure they can do well or poorly.

Edmonton is my pick to not make the playoff's, and i am gonna stand by this fopr the whole season. I just don't think th ey have enough talent/depth to make it in the tough Northwest Division.

^ dont tell anjew that .

but i agree they wont do as well -- i think they`ll barely squeeze into the playoffs.

shitty goalie.. peca`s gettin old too. Pronger is always injury prone.

i personally think Calgary will be the best Canadian team this season. Amonte was a sweet pickup- as was Darren Macarty & Daymond Langkow. Robyn Regher is one of the best young d-men around. Throw him in w/ Hamrlik and they gotta solid all around team. Kiprusof is crazy. I see the Flames finishing top 3 in the West.

Montreal will go as far as Theodore can take them. Ryder I think will be thier best player this season. They also got Radek Bonk , hes good when his minds in it. Koivu always gets hurt somehow. But the main focus is on Theodore.. he has a tendency to have shaky streaks.. but if he can get away from that this season - I can see them finishing top 6 in the East.

Both teams it lies on the goaltender, where as teams like Ottawa and Vancouver mostly rely on their offense rather than Defense, epsecially when it comes to goaltending.

I dunno though I can see Calgary finish high but i can also see them finish in lke 6 spot again.

Don't forget in the west we got the power houses your Colorado, our Vancouver, Detroit, Dallas to a degree. Not sure where the sharks are gonna be this year.

We see
