oil paint

i forgot how much i love you.
you're like sex in a tube. just fucking flowing and soft and blending and you make me never want to make another hard edge again. i can paint water in seconds with you, clouds in moments. even though you give me a slight headache and make my tummy a little queasy, i love you.
its 3 am, and i cant sleep because of you. im hoping that dragging myself to the computer will make me realize that i am tired and need to rest.

i love oil paint.

I love oil paints too! they are my favorite paints to work with! I must start doing art pieces/projects again. I miss having that escape. :(

^ have you ever used poppy seed oil? im using it right now and have some questions that i havent really been able to get answered. i'm just hoping it doesnt make it glossy as im going to be applying a glaze at the end.
(its a black and white image that im doing and im going to add a hint of color with some glazes)
so far so good. i'm also wondering just how flammable it is cause i heard its more so then linseed and thinner. im not mixing it with anything but hte paint though so im not too worried about combustion - and i dont use rags. i think ill just let the brushes sit out over winter\a few months, let them evaporate and then chuck them out.
i use watkins brush cleaner (its fucking amazing) and was also wondering if i can put brushes in that that have been in poppyseed oil.... i think its time to head back to school and ask my teachers from last year.

see, I don't know that much :( ... hehehe I am a total beginner when it comes to that aspect. I paint and such as a hobbie and create other types of pieces aswell, especially back in highschool becasue my school was very art inclined and I would love to get back into it and learn more. It is definately a passion of mine but yeah... I really don't know all the technical stuff =\ I would love to start learning more though it would be so helpful in the future. I considered applying to an art school after highschool, my teacher insisted on it but I haven't really decided on a direction yet and what I want to do... sorry I can't be very helpul to you, but maybe in the future I can get advice off of you? you seem to know what you are talking about when it comes to painting/art!
