Anjew is on a distinguished road
If only Ralph Klein could throw Gordon Campbell in the ocean...

Alberta's premier Ralph Klein is the man.
If only he could come to BC and take out Gordon Campbell.
With the BC Government making money Gordon Campbell had the opportunity to cut taxes instead he decided to once again cut taxes for the wealthiest group in BC and leave the middle income people to deal with.
Gordon Campbell also continues to ignore education and I'm getting sick of it.

Meanwhile you look at our neighbours and you read shit like this:

LETHBRIDGE, Alberta (CP) - Premier Ralph Klein says every man, woman and child in Alberta will get $400 each from the province's unbudgeted surplus - the result of burgeoning oil and gas wealth.

Klein says the tax-exempt money will be included in one cheque and will be distributed before the end of the year. The premier also says surplus cash will flow into two other priority areas - infrastructure projects and various endowments.

The decision on how the money will be spent came at a cabinet meeting in Lethbridge, Alta.

The exact amount of surplus money that will be available has yet to be determined.

ahhhhh our provincial government... trust me I won't be voting for you liberals until you fix your issues here.

Slipmatwax is an unknown quantity at this point
alberta has lots of oil money...if too many tax breaks are given, or they start dishing out cash, many people and businesses will move there. They are already attracting the big banks to move head offices from TO. This will create a new set of problems for the Province. "Normal" Albertans are already complaining - 2 tier health care, no Hospitals etc.

I have just returned from Calgary and Edmonton and lived there through the boom and bust and boom again. I have lived in BC for the past 10 years and love it compared with Alberta. They don't even have a recycle program!!! This is not a Conservative Province, we are left wing Liberals whether we like it not - that's why we love our Province, our lifestyle and all our people.

They are wallowing in excess cash and cant share it...the feds will eventually tax them on their excessive pollution; unfortunatley a by-product of oil and gas production. But all the best to Alberta, they will be a world force when the oil sands come on-board. We are all Canadian!

Life's a big juicy peach when the world is running out of oil, and your province is sitting on a whole bunch of it.

Just ask the rulers of Saudi Arabia.
