I live in Surrey. At first I had to trek out to Hypnotik in New West to get tickets. Then when they closed down I had to trek out to Laramy in Metrotown to get tickets. They don't seem to have tickets for anything except massives now, so I can't really go there. After that I had been going to On Deck Records at the stadium skytrain... and now THEY'RE gone. So yesterday I had to hike it from the skytrain to Boomtown at Davie and Burrard for my Pendulum ticket. That's a bit of a day trip to get tickets.

The purpose of this post isn't to gripe, but to find out if there is any better way to do things.

Furthermore, what's with the record stores dying?

Stadium Skytrain station is basically tinseltown Carrie lol.

Laramy in Metrotown is closer. Most peeps sell tickets there although I can't speak for Pendulum. We will have Krafty tickets there! :p

They should be there on Saturday. BEFORE you go down, just give them a quick call to confirm.

Woe to the raver who ignores this advice. I have made this trip more than once only to discover that the tickets were not up for sale.

Thanks for the post Kraig, I'll be sure to pick up my Krafty ticket there.

I've seen people posting here trying to resell tickets before... often for less than the stores are selling for. Are these people selling directly for the promoters and not taking kuts ( :200: ), or what? Maybe that's the best way to do things.
