online surveys for money?

i was thinking of signing up at http://www.surveyclub.com/ to get paid for taking surveys...buuut it seems like a scam...and i'm probably stupid for even considering it may be legit. but, it's very tempting tax free money.

so has anyone here ever gotten money by filling out surveys or whatever else thru the internet? or is it (as i already suspected) a waste of time.
