A New Book Thread

Since the last book thread has been going on for who knows how long, I figured I'd start a new one. I was wondering what the majority of people read here... I'm talking more along the lines of genres, and what you find interesting/entertaining.

As for myself, I find fantasy to be my all-time favorite (dragonlance, especially). However, I like to read anything and everything that is interesting or informative.

I'm into Political Thrillers, like Tom Clancy... You know, Espionage, Terrorist Threats, Revolutions... Good stuff like that. Or I read Historical things.

weird how you don't have normal "fiction" as an option.

Figured I would just break fiction down to all it's subcategories (science fiction, fantasy, mystery, etc, etc)... fiction by itself is a rather large category...

sidekick will become famous soon enough
^but lots of fiction books don't fit into the categories that you have there.

you should be able to pick multiple choices as well. so i could choose textbooks (for school), nonfiction, and fiction (or if you want to break it down: horror and literature)

^^^ hmm, well since this is my first time posting a poll I didn't know you could do all those options :(. Ah well, I guess it'll just be your "all-time favorite"... lol.. as for the rest of fiction, I did put an "other" category, and if you wanna specify then ya can leave a comment... I dunno, I was just bored and wanted to see what everyone in FNK found interesting.

I've mostly been intrested in art journals as of late. I really like the works of Sabrina Ward Harrison. I feel like Im talking about her a lot lately, but that's bc I just finally got my hands on the rest of her journals. I looooove her work. So right now, its more about pictures/images and collaging that incorperates relevent (to the author/artist) text ("visual journaling" as I know it) than reading for information or storyline.

no, you asked him if he liked it and he said 'huh?'
