Next thing she recalls is being in an alley with a man she couldnt see. Later she remebers finding herself lying in the dirt, confused and dishevelled. He was gone.
"I still have nightmares about what happened," she says , "and it can happen to anyone if theyre not really careful." ...

... Men can also be victims. 15 percent of drink spiking cases in the US involved men that result in crimes such as kidnap and robbery.

Prevention Tips:
Dont leave your drink unattended.
Make sure you see your drink being poured or opened.
Drink with friends and assign a 'Drinks watcher.'
Dont share drinks or drink leftovers.
Drink from bottles - theyre harder to spike.
Always drink sensibly and know your limit.

It was a real interesting read, it also shows that there is a kit or a card you can buy that you dip into the drink and tests for Date Rape Drugs.

Just thought this would help someone.

well, the posters say "my strength" and it shows pictures of doods so im assuming that its just targeted for men to stop rape. but in reality.. men also get raped, obviously not as often as women... but hey, it happens.

anyways, interesting site, check it out, some of the poster boys look a little on the queer side which makes me doubt their authenticity as.. ah fuck, nm.

my guess is men dont actually get raped, unless it is by other men, but they get the 'date rape drugged' then the people rob them. take their money, cc's and crap. Its still a serious situation.

I'll never forget this one night at the Plaza. I'm going to make this really short.

It was me, my friend Ashleigh, and her friend Shar. I was driving so I couldn't really drink, but Ash and Shar were just going at it. We had a booth and the server was bringing us our drinks.

After a while, I noticed Shar was having trouble staying up on her chair. This eventually lead to us getting kicked out of the club.

Outside, trying to get a cab was hell having two drunk girls to take care of. I had to hold Shar up, and stop Ash from trying to get back in. Shar lunged at some guy for some reason, she ended up falling on the sidewalk, on her head.

Yup spent the night at St. Patrick's until 7am. Then I had to work at 12:30

My car had blood and puke in it.

It turns out, they had been intoxicated by horse tranquilizer.

Its sad what legnths people will go through, but luckily you were there to help your friends out. If you werent god knows what wouldve happened.

another thing I do just incase you or someone else can't always keep their eyes on your drink every second (because thats all it takes, I've seen demonstrations of guys using tools to drop drugs in girls drinks when they look away for just a second while they are sitting right at the table having conversations with them.) I put another glass or coaster on top of my drink so that the person would have to take time to remove an object from the top of my glass before putting anything in it.

Come on now.

The stuff is so bitter that in order for someone to not notice it in their drink, they'd already have to be completely fucking schloshed.... and at that point, alcohol more than anything else is the date rape drug.

I copied all of it off of the newspaper, i just edited that part cuz it was too long. but thats what the newspaper said, but i guess in beer you wont really notice Ketamine, cuz beer is bitter itself. Thats why you gotta know your limit, so then you notice things that are going on.
