Phasing out Comments in the Gallery

Noticed slower then normal browsing speeds? Due to recent member growth and new planning for the future, Fnk.ca has decided to begin cutting corners on high bandwidth features. In order to apply exciting new applications back into the site (*cough Arcade) we will be phasing out the use of commenting in the gallery. As of December 1st all posting/editing of comments will be disabled and on January 1st be removed. We apologies for inconvenience this may pose.

just the Gallery comments, nothing to do with the forum posting at all.
however I will be intergrating the member galleries into the forum more so after.

most of those comments are useless. they are either "OMG u look so gud!" or "stop being a slut-whore and put some clothes on!"

i haven't been able to make comments in there since the Great Destruction of the Pictures on Fnk, so it doesn't really do anything for me.

i would like someone to give one good reason for disgreeing with taking away the comments.

what can you say below the pictures that you can't post about in the forum other than useless comments either telling the person they're 'hot' or 'not'

As much as I like reading the comments and occasionally making one getting rid of them will reduce alot of the drama on here
