tanning in the winter

i used to think it was retarted to go to a tanning salon period. but now, i'm going south for the winter, and i don't want to burn to a crisp when i get there, so i'm going to do a little prep tanning. but WOW. it's like 10 glorious minutes of summer warmth!
before there was only 2 things that would warm me up in the winter: sex or a hot shower.
now there's three.

Yeah, I was against it as well before I tried it out. I went alittle overboard last Winter... I'll cut back this time around for sure.

if someone could convince me that it's possible for my skin to be darker than the 3 different shades of pasty i have at different times of the year, i'd tan for sure.

Ha! that made me laugh. i just bought a package down the street.. soo relaxing. for me its either a tan or a hot shower.. lol, and luckily one comes right after the other. imagine tan, sex and hot shower..wow.

i feel so weaird not tanning at all anymore (since my last job on the island was at a tanning salon)
just as long as you dont go overboard on the tanning, then i think its ok

i started tanning like 3 weeks ago, when i noticed my summer glow had left me. i feel so energized when i get out of there, and even though it's nearly freezing outside, for the next hour i can wear a t-shirt and feel totally warm...it's awesome. plus, it's nice to get a base tan as i'm going to mexico for christmas. and i don't want to look to northern.

thumbs up for the glory of tanning.

ps. the lotions smell so good! matahari is my fave..and california tan is also fab.

i'm not going south for this christmas but yesterday I decided to head back to the ol tanorama and get a bit of color back. Not to mention I was shivering in my house, so the nice fake sun made me nice and warm.

I am going tommorrow morning. I love tanning beds they are so relaxing. And a bit of colour in the gloomy winter months never hurt anyone. I love going after the gym, so nice and a good way to unwind.

^it's bad to go everyday.. you should spread it out to every 2nd day :) just a thought. You don't want to put your skin into shock and you def don't want to get burned.

I was never against tanning. I think it's nice to have a healthy glow during the cold months lol.
I can't wait to start tanning again.

but you see, i am leaving in like 3 weeks, and i only bought 2 weeks of bed usage. i also can't go every day due to the fact that i have 1 and 1/2 jobs.
so if i go 2 days in a row, then i miss 4 i figure it all works out in the end.

should have gone to a salon that has early/late hours.

the reason i bought weeks is because i have a deadline.
and that's just over 3 weeks.
anyway, it's not the salons hours that are a problem (they're open until 9pm) it's me being too tired after working 13 hours on saturday and then again on sunday and not getting many days off in the month (i usualy get 2 a month but lately i've been taking extra days)

It is so relaxing eh !! I love havin a hot tan while everyone else is pasty white !! Sucks when you don't get to show it of to often, being all bundled up and all.

yeah dude... i swear ii'm so white i actually reflect the sunlight!

i'm embarrassed to even go to the tanning salon cause i know all the nice tanned skinned girls who work there are gonna be like "omg.. look at how white she is..!"


not to mention the fact that i'm probably going to end up with skin cancer if i do go.. probably going to anyways.. but hey, why quicken the process?


oh well ... we'll end up with nicer skin in the end
