F**king Dvd Burning!!!
So I just bought a brand new burner and got through about 5 burns using this trial burning program, which is now expired. I got a cd with a new version of Nero and when I try to burn a disk, it does the transcoding image thingy, but when I put in a blank disk it says "this disk is not big enough to hold all this fuckin bullshit" or something. Now they are the same disks I was using before, standard 4.7 Gig and they worked fine before. I tried a few different movies and they are all too big to burn onto regular disks. Is it possible that when it burns, it is expanding it and making it bigger, too big to fit on a regular disk? It showed that a regular movie copied over at over 6 gigs, from a normal sized rental movie.
And no it isn't a copywrite issue, I have a program that lifts the copy write block thingy. HELP! |

so your saying your trying to burn a dvd onto a blank one but because the blank dvds are only 4.7gb you cant fit it all on there. im currently helping my sister burn sex in the city and the first disc was like 6+ gb but using dvd shrink fixed that problem and i was able to fit it onto a 4.7 blank dvd-r

I'm using Nero version 6. The past 100 dvds or so that I've rented and burned using the same program, all fit onto regular dvds. I'm using the same disks, same program and all 6 of the dvds I rented yesterday, are all of a sudden too big to fit on a regular dvd. I never used dvd shrink in the past, but I'll give it a try. Do you just run dvd shrink to shrink the file, then burn it on nero? Or can you shrink it and burn it with dvd shrink?
