I got a few stitches on my face and today is the day they get removed, but is it okay to remove them yourself? Like do I really got to go to the doctor, so he can remove them? Asking cause I really wanna shave, my face feels weird with facial hair, I feel old, lol.

i've never done it, but my dad told me that you must pay attetion to pulling the thread from the knot end. the nurse who was taking the stitches out from his back surgery wasn't paying enough attetion and started yanking on the wrong end thinking it was just not coming out smoothly. long story short. it hurts alot.
