It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas!

So, during a call w/ me mate, it dawns on me that I have to renew my vehicle insurance.

He agrees to drop by and walk down to his office and do it for me on his off hours, this foggy saturday.

We walk into that swinging pendulum building and head to his office on the main floor.

As he's saying hello's to the security dudes, my nostrils are overwhelmed by gingerbread!!!

As we get to his office, I mention how majorly gingerbreadly it's smelling, and he says, "Oh, yeah! That place on the other side of the lifts are GREAT!"

He beelines over, and, even though the place is "Closed", there are people working behind the counter.

As he walks through the door, he yells, "HEY! Are you guys making gingerbread cookies?!", just as I walk in behind him and see every stinkin' table in the place _COVERED_ w/ gingerbread men!!! (a la Willy Wonka-style!)

I bust a gut, laughing!!!!!!!!!

He goes and gabs w/ the workers (whom he obviously knows) and returns to the door, leading me back to his office, while handing me a freshly-baked gingerbread man! (They'd not gotten to the icing, yet)

That had to be one of the most hilarious starts to the Christmas season I've ever had!!!

Mmm..! Im so making men and a house outta gingerbread this year. =)
And I see they've set up the lot for the cub scouts to sell the christmas trees already. no trees just yet, but the wooden "fencing" is all up.
