Nasty words set tone for upcoming campaignes.
With just several days left in the life of the Liberal minority government, it appears an election campaign is already underway -- so we can all look forward to a lot of nasty talk and character assassination.
MP John Reynolds, the Conservatives' campaign co-director, called Immigration Minister Joe Volpe a 'sleazebag.' Volpe immediately fired back, accusing Reynolds of running up his own expenses. What kind of schoolyard bullshit is this where the people running our government are name calling and sneering just to shoot down the opponent? Do we really want the Conservatives in power again? For the last 12 years the Liberals have been doing not the greatest job, because 'good government' is a paradox on its own, but I feel that things could be worse for us if Conservatives were in power again. G.S.T.Fuckin Mulroney. How do you feel? |

Please tell me that you're not surprised by political mud slinging? It's not like we haven't seen that in every election campaign.... well EVER.
Not saying that I like it but it's a fact. Some parties tend to base their entire campaign on mud slinging with little platform issues being brought up. Like I said, don't like it but it's gonna happen anyways so you have to do your best to look past the useless words to what the party really offers. |

Thats how our government gets things done isn't it?
Harper: "This government has done this country a great disservice!" House: "rabble rabble rabble, clap clap clap" and if your going to bash bush at least have something to back it up. |
