ive working in many areas of the hospitality industry including some hotels.
also, i took hospitality management in college.

what ya wanna know?

What hotels? I worked at 4 downtown if that helps. hcareers is also how I got my last job at holland america line. and I have a buddy who works there.

really.....i just want to get into the hotel industry....

like what are best positions and which positions suck....ummm....where the best place to start off...like entry level

Well I'm a chef by trade, and I ahve only worked in 4 and 5 diamond propeties. I imagine the easiest way to get in would be front desk or housekeeping, being a house boy or something like that.

I work at a hotel as a front desk agent. Its great. Its definately important to ask alot of questions on an interview. You want to know if theres advancement opportunities..because depending on the hotel..there could be none. As far as schooling goes..its good on a resume..but not mandatory. I am the only one at my hotel with a college diploma..and the only one with a background in tourism. Good luck! =D
