Yea looking at thoes pics made my tummy turn just a little bit... I think mostly because the piercings were still red...

I've got my nape pierced. And I'll tell you that it's the ONLY piercing of mine that's hurt (and I have 16 others in various places). Not only did the needle take at least a minute or two to slowly get pushed into my skin, i could HEAR skin and whatever else in there being punctured through my neck. Lol. Not to scare you, but I have a VERY VERY high pain tolerance. I got through it, but it hurt.
I've had it for about...hmm I think 2 months now and it's doing nicelyl, of course it all depends on who pierces you, how easily your body rejects it and how the job went in order to see how long it lasts. My piercer said he's seen someone who still has hers after 2 years and someone else only had theirs for a few weeks before it rejected - so I went in knowing that it might not last. and I still know it might not last but I'm willing to take that chance. I want my cleavage pierced (picture in the first post) but at the same time, do I want a nasty scar there if it ever rejects badly? If you're REALLY thinking about getting a surface piercing, watch who you go to -- that will make all the difference. I will only go to one person for surface piercings and he's out in Richmond. check out www.allaboutelwood.com |
