electric or manual

it seems as if the hot new trend in oral care are electric tooth-brushes.

i have never used one and do not think that it would be necessary.

it takes little or no effort to brush back and forth and up and down a few times.

i think that electric tooth-brushes are for lazy people.

they do... most [ the good ones anywayz..] come with a lil thing that plugs into the wall and when you're not using it it charges..

they're not actually all that bad... my parents have one.. they really like it.. it's not that their lazy.. it's just it cleans your teeth alot better then with a normal brush.. trust me.. you're dentist will notice...

my bf has one, he says it cleans his so much better than regular toothbrushes, apparently he's noticed a big difference. but, he dropped it on tile floor and the head part broke. so it's back to regular ones for him for now.
i have not used it, it bugs me that replacement heads are like $30.

most of them DO plug into the wall, but the new "crest" ones are battery operated and i do not think that you can change the batteries.

With the Crest ones you can replace the battery but you can't replace the top which is pretty stupid.
