Try usin' a rock drill on the edge of a 40 ft cliff straight down into the ocean.

No harness.

Not cool.

That would suck.

We have Scaffolds for the second storie and tall ladders. For the third story we use this lift machine from United rentals. Its really kewl, I can't wait to use it.

I just hate working on the tall ladders, they seem so unstable. Today it started leaning to one side and I started climbing down and jumped half way of it, but it didn't fall, but I wasn't gonna chill on top of a ladder that's about to fall. This ain't no WWE Ladder Match, lol.

I hate all ladders. Unless they are bolted up I don't trust any of em. Falling off one and gettin my leg caught in the steps while it slammed on the ground didn't really inspire any confidence either.

Ouch that must of heart. Yeah the ladders that i use are so unstable, so I stopped climbing to the very top, I ain't risking it. One of my co-workers fell a few days ago he said and almost smashed his knee cap. Ladders are very dangerous, I just wanna stick to cutting. The scaffolds are fuckin scary when they get to the third storie, I dunno why we weren't using the lift buckets.

If it's set up and used properly scafolding is safe and very easy to work off. The rule of thumb is that if you are 15 feet (I think???) or higher you should be harnessed and tied off or have a guard rail set up. Other than that just use basic common sense. Genie Booms can be helpful but for a lot of jobs are really more expensive and sometimes even slower. With scafolds you get laborors to set them up and then you can put up the framing, electrical, plumbing, board, and tape. The initial set up takes a while but from there on it's gravy!

Good luck with the new job.
