^ not to rain on ur parada but ottawa plays tonight and than they rest until friday too. The rest goes both ways.
This has the potential to be a really scary game for us. We could get blows apart, but I find if a team holds ottawa to like no goals in the first ottawa tends to play with a little less tenacity. *ALL SPECULATION* I don't even wanna predict right now |

^ that is true but half those wins have been scary. One against phoenix we won with a disputed goal by cooke.
but yea we got the home record going for us, but ottawa isn't exactly terrible on the road either, there are killers at home and on the road. but if we can keep them tight in the first period we have a chance. |

yeah I'm scared having Auld in against a big scorin team like OTT..
everyone was like ohhhh he's so much better than Cloutier, let's have him as the starter.. but now that he has had a bunch of games to really test him, his weaknesses are comin out. Not sayin I'm a huge fan of Coutier either.. we need a new starter. |

I think the real question is, is this a defining game for the team? how they play against a team that was practicly givin the cup before the season even started. I think even if they lose as long as it was close and to an ottawa team playng at there best i think it will speak volumes about the teams character and maybe give them a boost before heading out on the road for 2

^ no ottawa is the real deal last year they would have made it to the eastern final had Patrick Lalime not let in that soft goal right through his pads well standing.
This years team is essential that team with solid goaltending and a better team up front with the addition of heatley, and spezza playing solid. We havn't even been out of the first round since 2002 |

I've got tickets to this game. And I intend to show up in all my Senators gear.
Honestly, I am unsure of what the outcome will be. Ottawa has been having a kick ass season. But Vancouver's home record is very impressive as well. However... I hope Hasek can get another shut-out :p |

I heard some predictions on CKNW last night with Shorty. someone said 7-6 for vancouver, i also remember 3-2.
I think in order to win we have to limit them to 4 goals at the most. 3 would be alot better, i think if we get to the net we have enough fire power to score 3 or 4 goals. Its just a matter of getting to the net against ottawa thats tough. P.S:: ^ Goddamn what is up with ur avator |

Havlat dislocated his shoulder a few games back. Redden is also out with an injury, and he's a good defenceman. However, Chara is back from his suspension. PS: my avator doesn't like you. |
