the 'where should i get...' thread
this is the 'where should i get...' thread where you name something you're looking for and fellow fnk'ers can suggest a good brand/model, where too get it and around how much it'll cost
this isn't just for christmas presents, but for those other times you need too purchase something and you want too get the best place too go looking i'll start.. i'm looking for a manual coffeemaker, none of that drip drop plug in stuff. something like a percolator or french press that makes enough for 2 people. the cheapest bodum i found today was $25~ a travel mug with a stainless steel interior. a coffee grinder. |

Kelly- Get the stainless steel bodum from *bucks, it's not cheap but it's better because in the last five or so years, I've smashed 4 of the glass ones only to purchase another one. Stainless steel looks sleek, keeps the coffee warmer for WAY longer and doesn't break.

- a fancy day planner\organizor - a gorgeous photo album and a roll of film - balloons - journal - a peice of art - maybe its functional art like a hand crafted mug\vase, or a painting or print - head down to granville island or anywhere that sells hand-crafted jewlery - its individual that way, but thats not so general i guess. |

You'll save bigtime when you don't have to replace the glass one like 4 times after smashing it on several groggy occasions, truuust me, stainless steel bodums are the best I don't know how I went with glass for so long. I also LOVE that it keeps coffees and teas warmer for longer, glass does a crappy job of retaining heat. I'm looking for a store that sells decent hoodies for guys, looking for something simple but stylish, like zoo york brand and I've already been to below the belt, underworld, boardroom, westbeach and pacific boarder. |

Re: Manual Coffee Maker. I'm not a big fan of bodums for some reason (although you can steep tea in them, which is great). I prefer to make coffee out of one of those Turkish stove-top makers (they are usually cheaper, too!) but I'm not sure where to get quality ones in Vancouver, all the ones I have gotten were from Russia. :/

im looking for a loving and caring girl.
not a girl who still talks about her ex-boyfriend and how much of an ass he was. a girl with a brain (doesnt have to be a lawyer or dentist, just have some common sense) a lady to share some good times with. someone who will be there when i drink to much and tuck me into my bed. how much do these cost? fuck. |
