awh thanks! Totally eating green veggies and protein and cutting out fats and sugars and most importantly drinking my 8 glasses of water. I lost it in 4 days :) and I'm still going. But by the 2nd day my mouth felt like I had 20 sugar cubes in it b/c my body was getting ride of everything that it dosen't need. And I was totally going through withdrawls like cold shivers and bad headaches. It's really hard... but I'm getting past the most diffucult part and most def starting to see results. :)

so it's just diet? no excercise?

i lost 1 pant size in the last 3 weeks cuz i've been hitting the gym hard everyday ! but i still baiscally eat whatever i want which is pretty healthy(aside from that xmas baking i just can't resist).

If god didn't want us to eat it, he wouldn't have let some one invent it.

Also be careful, dramatic weightloss comes back on really fast and it can be slightly tramatic on your body.

oh I've been exercising too ( sorry I didn't add that b/c it's just part of my day to day life). I go to the gym 3-4x a week. I don't think of it as a diet, I think of it as a life style change. If I thought of it as a diet I most likely wouldn't stick to it. Oh and trust me I'm the queen of dramatic weightloss and then gaining it back again. I lost 65 pounds in 9 months and then just stoped and gained it back. This is going to be for good. :)

the first 10lbs always seem to fly off quickly. but its sad to say they can come back twice as fast if you slip up in your eating habits. because if you go from eating basically nothing...to even a little bit your body gets totally out of wack. also just because you workout doesn't means you should still eat 'anything you want' if you are trying to lose alot of weight. keep eating right and cardio cardio cardio and you'll see great results.

yeah I didn't agree with the eat whatever you want as long as you work out bit. It's not actually true. However you are allowed to eat basically anything that you want if you eat the right portions of it. Thats what I've been taught on every diet that I've tried. And you are right. The first weight that you lose is mostly water weight but it gets your body in the right mode. :)

i never said it was OK if you still work out a bit. i just dont limit myself to the same foods everyday. plus i go to the gym 5-6 days a week with no less then 30 min cardio each time, and sometimes(not right now cuz i'm too busy) i am at the gym twice in one day. this is hardly working out "a little bit" lol.

but again what i eat is really healthy. i rarely eat junk food. the only sweets are what i bake at home. the odd bowl of ice cream but only cuz it's homemade from this dairy that is so good. i eat balenced meals of veggies and meat, lunches are usually left overs from the night before, or soup, i'm addicted to slimfast shakes for breakfast/dinner most days cuz i'm so busy with 2 jobs. snacks are rice crackers, and lowfat yogurt with fruit in it.

this is just what i do. if i lived off fast food, or carbs or junk and donuts and crap working out would deffinatly not cut it. i just hope if you go to a resturant or if someone cooks you a meal you eat it !!!

haha I wasn't refering to you hun. It was something that someone else had mentioned.*lol*. However I must admit that that was my rule for the longest time too. I think that you are getting the wrong point. I'm not starving myself.. I eat tons and tons until I'm full and I also drink water before I eat a meal so I'm already semi full. I do go out for dinners I just know what to order and if someone makes me dinner I do eat it. *lol* Like I said before.. you can basically eat anything as long as you limit your portions. :)

I think I lost 10 pounds this weekend. A short binge but I ate only 2 meals... and they were like microwaveable. The third day I worked 8 hours without any food the whole day. I was so spaced out

Wrong.

Lots of people tend to get losing weight and healthy confused.

Just because you are losing weight and its staying off doesn't mean you can eat whatever you want, thats NOT healthy.

My dads friend just died the other day because he has a HUGE heart attack. He worked out almost every single day and ran twice a day. He looked very healthy but he ate like a pig.

Props to losing some weight during the holiday season, but if you ate right then you would end up losing a LOT more.

I allready said that eating whatever you want is just refering to not having a strict diet. What I eat is no where near piggish but I still eat what I want when I want. If I want 2 cheeseburgers I will eat them, but that is maybe once a month at most.

If that gives me a heart attack then so be it. Every person's body is different, obviously if this guy was working out like a maniac and eating crap his body wasn't getting enough of the right things that it needs.

Actuallly I totally disagree with you. If I want a piece of cheesecake I can eat it.. or if I want a few chips I can have that too but instead of having a huge honking piece of cake and like 2 bags of chips I will only have a small piece and then make sure to drink lots of water afterwards as well. I don't think that there is alot to get confused about between losing weight and eating healthy. I don't mean that you can eat McDonalds everyday but as long as you work out it's ok. I mean that you can eat things in PORTIONS :)

Also, I'm really sorry to hear about your dad friends. But that's not what I was getting at.

you are right it doesn't happen to everyone but also everyone is different. Everyone's bodies work in different ways and some it will affect more then others. I don't have that anymore now. It was only for the first few days. I'm totally back to normal now.
