Brussel sprouts ARE NOT your enemy!!
seriously, they can be super tasty! Cut in half, wedge cut out the cores. Blanch in salted water for a bit (pull them out in a few minutes) Rinse quickly under cold water(not too much!) In a sauce pan, put together some whole cumin seed(a star anise pod doesnt hurt) pat of butter, maple syrup and a shot of s+p, glaze sprouts with the mixture, toss in hot oven before the heads come over for chow, for a 8-10 minutes + BOOYAH!! :)
