what did you ask for but didn't get?

We all ask for shit every year but don't get it. So what did you ask for but didn't get? Mine were a little unreasonable, so they had to put thought into every gift they bought. I really just didn't want or need anything other than what I've been saving up for, so I went all out in my wishlist just to make them squirm:

- a kilt (man, I would so rave in a kilt)
- a good three channel mixer (so I can plug my bass in)
- a 5-string slap bass

I didnt really ask for much (only practical things that i needed) and i got that
and art supplies...but i got money for thay, so i guess i got everything...
on top of that it was a great, laid back day, and i got to see everyone who was important so im happy:)

i dont know yet since ive been working 24th 25th 26th and tomorrow i'm gonna go visit my dad... i dont usually give requests, but this time i did ask for something - an espresso maker! if i got that, it'll be a very perky next few weeks.

i like suprises most of all though. :)
