Don't listen to any of these people... EVERY FOOT IS DIFFERENT.
What you want to do is go to an actual running store. Go to The Running Room or The Runner's Den or something. An experienced sales person of running shoes will be able to help you figure out the best shoe for you. Certain brands tend to fit different than others but also different shoes have different types of support for different feet. A good running shoe store will also take back the shoes if they don't work for you. I tried 3 different pairs of shoes before I settled on my pair. I kept the shoes for a week and ran with them. If after that week they didn't feel just right I'd go back and they'd help me figure out another shoe. Ultimately I settled on a pair of Saucony's and they've been great.... FOR ME. If you're serious about running you need to get the right shoe... it makes a world of difference. Last edited by Cdn_Brdr; Dec 29, 05 at 05:37 PM. |
