raving barefoot
I just ran to the store to grab some Reese's Peanut Butter cups in my barefeet. The town I come from is clean and has lots of nice grass to walk on. Harrison is no different. I don't see anything wrong with the Brahma Walk. Someone yelled to me "put some shoes on, you fuckin hippie" as they drove by and I had a flashback to Simple VIII where some ignorant yuppie told me "you can't rave barefoot, this isn't Woodstock." In the ancient days, they didn't wear shoes, but they still raved! Earth-shaking drum beats, a bonfire that touched the sky, and a whole tribe dancing and singing to the music that they created. Every rave I've danced I've taken my shoes off at one point or another... it's comfortable for me! I'm not going to stop :198:

me and my girls from white rock used to always rave barefoot back in the day, it's just easier to dance in bare feet, although in retrospect with some of the venues we did that in it's fucking disgusting.
erm, i also recall a bit of barefoot drunken dancing in the wee hrs of the morning at apex this year haha |

Ive done some barefoot commuting before.. if fact this summer i rarely wore shoes. Only when i went into stores, etc. Although it was mostly because i was camping - EVERY GOD DAMN DAY! As far as raving in no shoes.. i guess your safe from picking up athletes foot, since no one else goes barefoot. But it is fairly dirty, ill keep my shoes on for now.
