Reglazing bathtubs

I've decided I'm going to have my bathtub reglazed in an effort to update my bathroom.

Has anyone had this done? If so who did you use and who would you recommend.

There is only one company with the BBB so I thought I'd throw this out to everyone.

i have moved into a new apt and they reglazed it and after about three months it was already coming off...i would just recommend bying a new one honestly if you have the funds because it is only a temp solution

I just put in new tile, so buying a new one is really out of the question at this time... Do you think you could ask around to find out who did yours? (So I don't talk to them...)

I'm more thinking about it because I'm still considering selling my apartment and an updated looking bathroom would drive the price up.

When I was renting a heritage house in Kits, the gloriously long ( I mean, STRETCH O-U-T!) bathtub was flaking badly and had the mgr. arrange for a reglazing.

Do you have _any_ idea what you're getting into, here?!

We had to _leave_ the house for 2 days, and _still_ could not use the tub (uh,... that _was_ our shower, too!) for another 3 days!

And the place STUNK of chemicals for another week+!!!

The end result? BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who did it? No clue. Mgr-dude took care of it.

If you can find someone reliable, it's worth the week of shower-surfing @ your friends' places.
