The ice breaker. We need a division win especially against calgary. Edmonton lost so we can pass them and be a point or two behind Calgary.

Common Canucks your losing your fans here. Colorado also won which means we MUST win they are right behind us for 7th in the west.

vancouver needed that win...

all vancouvers goals were on powerplays.. they need to strengthen there 5 on 5... you cant rely on penalties to help you win a game

True that, but hey they totally needed to take advantage of their power plays, something they had been lacking. Please 4 mins power play shouldn't be goal less...

No doubt, but Kippersof was making some amazing saves 5 on 5.

Not to mention 2 of Calgary's three goals came on the powerplay.

but ya Canucks do need to work on their 5 on 5 but thing is they looked dangerous 5 on 5 early they just couldnt buy the goals.

The Canucks powerplay has been scoring alot though lately. We still gotta be defensively better. That Iginla goal was a defensive breakdown

yea.. some of the powerplays were suckin big time... no shots on net at all

half way through the 2nd the finally started hitting hard and giving up the puck less.

I gotta say calgary is probly pissed off . They got called on a few lame ass penalties

^ yea but the ones that really cost them were when they were chasing the canucks. Especially in the last half of the third when we had them pressed in their own zone most of the time.

The penalties on bertuzzi were fair, even the one in o.t. Bert would have been on a breakaway if he didn't get tripped up

yea.. fair enough.... but all around the canucks need a little more effort.. just to get em back were they were before.. i think this game helped them out big time...

That call on Huselious was kinda of bunk, but the refs suck in this NEW NHL.

I just hope they get it together for April. Holy shit flames fans are soo cocky its not even funny.

Canucks need to play how they were before in like november. We can obviously hit if we try, look at the third period tonight. We forechecked like we were the flames. Good teams all forecheck well. We did it tonight and it got us the momentum.

Hopefully we start hitting and forechecking better game in game out. Even Naslund took a guy out lol.
