haunted house in poco

There's this abandoned house out in poco thats apparently hauned, off of Coast Meridian. Anybody know about it? Anyways, my buddy had this theory that the pig farmer was stashing bodies there or something because a friend of his uncle to see him driving up towards the house at like 4am every morning [load of crap...].. so 6 of us decided to take a little trip out there and check it out, blair witch style, armed with video cameras and flashlights.

After driving around for an hour because the obsessed friend forgot how to get there, we're heading up the really narrow gravel road. This road freaked me out. Its harsh in the middle of nowhere up burke mountain [i think thats what its called], and there is -nothing- else there except for this house. We're driving, and driving, we drive up the hill, and up another hill, and around the corner, and there's the gate to the house.

Then we look a little bit ahead of us, and we see it. The most unexpected thing ever. A BONFIRE PARTY. Up a mountain in the boonies of poco, in front of an abandoned house. I almost pissed my pants cuz it was the coolest thing ever. lol

I just wanted to share that :P

Michelle. Yo its Kenji here. Guess where I live?? Thats right Poco, and on what street you say. Why I live on Coast Meridian. Go figure eh lol.

Anyways I know exactly what you are talking about, and the gravel road is Correy Road, and I know of the house your talking about also. Me and my friend passed the gate and went to take a look at the house also. It wasn't abandoned at all. Quite the contrary, there were a bunch of WHITE people all around being rowdy and loud. Not to mention that this was a tlike 3am, meaning everyone in poco is like asleep lol.

Its supposidly a KKK house is what it is. My sisters friends have been up their also. Some have apparently been chased by a person from the house, because they got caught snooping. Crazy shit. I don't know if I will ever go up there again. Me and my friend harsh booked it after.

since i actually came across an interesting thread on this forum for once ill add some insight to this story. First of all ive lived in poco for, well lets just say many years (hangs head) and ive nver heard of such a haunted house or i would of checked it out by now. But anyways correy road is not off coast meridian, its off victoria...and the supposedly kkk house (i think) is before the road even turns to gravel. There is a gravel road off coast but that leads to the gun club, not a haunted house. Too bad BJ didnt come on this forum hes the correy road expect to set the record straight, heh.

As an additional piece of info, for all you x-file fans they filmed that rock quarry episode wiht mulder in a train car filled with dead alian bodies on correy rd...i stole the sign for the film crew and was told they coudnt find the set the nxt day.....good poconian times.

Hey Kenji!! yeah i don't think it was a kkk house, though that would have freaked me out even more!! The place is sooo trashed. Every window and door is broken and the sundeck has fallen off.

I just looked it up on a map, and its on Harper road, right before Coast Meridian ends.

beat_farmer, you're rite about the gun club. I remember seeing a sign for some coquitlam gun and fishing [not sure if it was fishing] club. But we didn't see it. After driving down the road for about 5-10 minutes, we turned right off of it and the house was down there just a little bit.

Oh we definitely stopped! I was like "SCORE! A PARTY!". But yeah, much to our dissapointment, there were no dead hookers in sight.
