Bevan... I never knew you were born in 86' I always thought you were a 84' or 85'.

I was one of the first kids in my school to get a nintendo... Even thought I didnt bother to play it for years after I got it. I was too busy reading books, playing with trucks, buliding cities(out of lego) and ripping apart/giving makeovers to my barbies... lol barbie just doesnt look the same with a crew cut.

Fuck I hated barbie lol But loved her cars lol

I think were just in denial that we all probly have lead poisoning.

I remember those cards you get from like Cereal like Frosted Flakes and attach them to the spikes on the wheel to make it sound like a motercycle haha.

You could also use regualar playing cards but the Frosted Flakes ones were the shit. They had little plastic reflector lights on them.

I had a nintendo too, fuck was I ever good at double dragon and megaman 1 to whatever

Awesome post!

I remember the first day I got a Nintendo, my dad came back from Detroit with a present for me and woke me up at 3am. I remember coming downstairs and playing it till 10am the next day, I was even allowed to skip school the next day it was great, I was so happy.

My favorite game was Tennage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the movie was awesome too. I had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles everything, good times.

Climbing trees was so much fun, I never fell, but I did cut myself a few times. I also remember my first BMX my dad baught for me downtown Toronto when I was 8 years old we had to take it on the metro to bring it home cause it didn't fit into the Ford Mercury. Those were the times, it was awesome going BMXing with all my friends, I miss Ontario so much, so many great memories there.

I just didn't like the Christian School I had to go to, that sucked. I always got into trouble, that school was so striked.

I was born in 1983, came to Canada from Italy, I remember I didn't wanna leave Italy, it was so nice there, so warm all the time.

Damn I didn so many stupid things as a kid, I remember I had a remote control car and accidently left it on in my drawers and woke up to the noise of it hitting the wood in the drawer. I got so freaked out and my parents were out. Then I checked it out and realized I left it on, felt so dumb.

I remember building forts and playing with lego, I had such a great set. Those were the good old days, damn I feel old now

Hmm well I was partly raised in the Philippines. Things were a bit different there. And I was born in 85... so I guess I might as well be for the 86 and up side of things hehe.

I think lead poisoning is the only way of accounting for how we're all shitting oursevles over how great this thread is.

Yeah yeah, I was excited about Nintendo too.

Also we had this thread about 3-6 months ago. But no-one remembers THAT.

i remember i also had some sort of video game, i can't remember what it was called though.. i remember it had donkey kong and i remember the remote looked kinda like a telephone and it had a little round joy-stick at the top and a spiral cord

and i remember playing in mud all the time and me and my friends would throw rocks at each other cause we were playing war.. then their mom yelled at us and told us to stop throwing rocks, so we covered the rocks in mud so she couldn't tell..

lol..smart, no.. but fun as hell!

When I was 7 I fell from a tree chasing some animal up to a treehouse, the branch that broke was apparently rotten. Now that I think of it, it might have been a skunk I was chasing. So stupid.

If it wasn't for me being 7 years old, i prob would have had real damage to my wrist cause I crushed the bone(s)?

Luckily you heal fast when your a child still growing

Oh man I can't even count how many times I scraped my knees, fell off my bike (or skateboard), got sharp rocks in my foot, etc etc. And of course it didn't hurt until mommy noticed it. lol

I think we must've been 2 of the lucky ones. I didn't break a single bone in my body till I was about 20- and that wasn't even my fault.
