Shipping Items from UK To Vancouver
Just wondering if anyone has had to ship stuff from the uk to Vancouver .
im moving in july but iv heard it can take up to 3 months to ship stuff . So to ship my dex, Vinyl, PC, clothes and random stuff i cant live without etc, i'll need to do it within the next few months so it arrives before i move over. also ,will i have to ship to the east coast then pay for it to be transported accross to Van? if any one has used or can recomend a company that i could look into ,that be wicked. Unless you want to pay a fortune you must do 3 things;
1. Declare the items as personal belongings with a value of $60 or under. 2. Get tracking but avoid insurance (if you get insurance, value your good as being worth $100) 3. Send your items before you leave. U could have it in 3 days, but thats just retarded money... |

I work for a courier company. It is pricey to ship things international by courier, but it takes no time at all. Anywhere from 3-8 business days depending on if customs holds it(they can do whatever they want.)My advice is to ship it the slow way, or else your going to be out alot of money. On average it costs between 50-60$$$ just to ship a letter by courier internationally, and my bet is you got alot of things to send here.
