I found out when I was looking for the record label for Mike Oldfield - Far above the Clouds (Jam and Spoon remix) on the jam and spoon page on discogs.com. I've been there several times, I don't know why I decided to reread the sumary, and it say he died earlier this month. Devastating. Known of Jam and Spoon for about 14 years, and I was just recently starting to look into their stuff more closely. Thoughts are with the familly and friends. There is an online book of condolences.
