Today in the World of Sports
The NHL schedules 2 games knowing in advance they would be up against the 2 Confrence games in the NFL.
The NBA produces 3 buzzer beating games tonight and counting. LA vs Toronto Kobe Bryant through 3 quarters has 53 points - his career high is 62. LA was losing by 18 points and KOBE decided to take the game over at one point scoring 21 or 22 points in the third quarter. 63 - 49 for Toronto at halftime - now after 3 it is 91 - 85 Phoenix vs Seattle - It's happened, for anyone who follows basketball we all kinda figured Phoenix would be involved in a game with this many points but they lost.... 151 - 148 against Seattle in 2OT The NFL Pittsburgh vs Denver The Broncos had not lost at home all year and all the talk shows stated Pittsburgh run would stop here. Well Pittsburgh not only won but dominated the game. Jerome Bettis is playing for the Superbowl in his hometown of Detroit. Carolina vs Seattle The Seattle Seahawks also dominated their game against Carolina completely shutting out mr. Smith. thus, the Seahawks are now going to their first ever Superbowl. Australian Open Andy Roddick gets destroyed by a kid named baghdatis I figured there's more to talk about in tennis then the NHL today lol. |

i was hoping Phoenix was gonna win that game against the Super Sonics.
Went down to the wire too. That shot by Allen was a super clutch shot. Actually now that I think about it Phoenix is not having their way in games decided in overtime. Last edited by KenJi; Jan 23, 06 at 06:10 PM. |
