Winston- I just heard about this and I am truly sorry to hear this happened to you, I hate the idea of you getting hurt, but I know nothing hurts more than something that has so much meaning stripped away from you.
If there's any way I can help, let me know(I don't have any info, but I am good at drinking tea and giving huuugs). I'm glad you're okay and doing well.

woah .. very sorry to hear that.
similar things have happened to me, wrong place wrong time before, visiting an old friend -- luckily that incident was less serious and didn't involve guns (that I saw), and I was able to save my friend's head from getting split open and drive the bastards off. i really think the pawn shop idea is a good one -- let them know what your looking for, and that you're willing to pay a reward. they might be able to dig it up. also, you may not even have to buy the watch off the shop if you can proove it's yours -- something about stolen property laws... look into it. on a personal note, me and the misses enjoyed a very nice dim sum yesterday and I hope this lunar new year brings good things .. she is a dog as well, and I hope your string of bad luck turns around. peace

yeah you should provide a description if you can, perhaps there may be an fnk'er who knows of these fools. another tip, when you go to pawn shops and give them a picture of your watch, give them an "under the table" contract to provide you info on the person that brings you in the watch, of course that will cost a price too, but it may give us a lead to find the assholes

Sorry to hear that dawg, I know how you feel. Just a while back I got bear maced and piped by two guys, ended up in a hospital and got my favorite jacket stolen from me. If I ever find those two fuckers I will give both of them the world's biggest ass kicking. They can have a 2 on 1 handicap cause the shit I'm gonna do to them is gonna be fucken scary. No compassion for people like that.
Good luck with your search for the watch. I say get a crewand go back to the area and look for the guy, ask around maybe someone can give you a lead. Luckily you didn't get hurt too bad and that you're okay dawg.

I got jacked in the West End and these days what is taken in one city doesn't mean it stays there to be sold.
But I do appreciate the help and if you can drop into the odd pawn shop that you walk buy that would be great. Right now I'm not getting anywhere with my search as I'm running into obstacle after obstacle on this search.

i jus had a crate of my 50 best records stolen after a club.
I know wut its like and the feeling afterward. Things like that are irreplacable ... fortunately for me .. they did come up. All u can really do is contact everyone u know and let them know about it. I figured the more ppl that knew about it .. the better chance i had gettin my shit back. 1 week passed and I called everyone .. including pawn shops, record stores, any place that buys goods. I sent at least 300 emails out .. blew up friendster, msn etc. Let them know about the situation and how to get a hold of me. 2 days later, Beatstreet Records called me .. owner said some 40 yr old native homeless man was tryin to sell him 50 hip hop records..
