maybe...
i kno that brasil is dirt cheap.. seriously, u can buy cloths there for like 5$ american... but the only thing.. if u goto Brasil.. there is alot of crime there.. kidnapping, robbing, murder... so if u went there u would need to be with people that kne their way around.. so going in a group would prob be better (if u dont kno ur way around Brasil). |

that makes no sense. why would you be paying for everything to go volunteer? sounds like a nice way for a company to make some serious profits.
if they really needed volunteers, they would have commercial donations that pay for your fees and such. |

I bet you can go down there and actually get a job teaching english where you would make money and volunteer at the same time...why pay to volunteer. Really, I'd head out there by myself and volunteer rather than be part of a team. I know in thailand could live like a queen on $400 a month!

Most third world countries love volunteers but its cheapest to go over there and then hunt down a orphanage, school etc to help out at. I know a lot of orphanages will put you up and feed you if you commit to a few weeks of helping out.
