i almost got hit by a car last night

i was crossing cambie by the park theatre (using a crosswalk and all) and the cars wouldn't stop for me, so i inched out carefully making sure that the drivers saw me and all. this car stopped for me so i started to walk, but then someone rear-ended him and the car flew at me. it was scary!!!

I drive down Cambie everyday to work... that area around the Park theatre where there are like 5 crosswalks in a row is extremely dangerous.

They should remove a few and make one or two light controled ones because cars sometimes can't see the people crossing until it's to late.
